The Superpower Horns, one of New York's most in-demand horn sections, have given over 350 live performances and done numerous high-profile recording sessions in their five year history.

The Superpowers Horns are a house horn section at legendary Roc-A-Fella Records and in the past year have collaborated with the likes of Curren$y, Jean Grae, Mos Def, Devin the Dude and notable producer Ski Beatz.

Originally the horn section for The Superpowers, a Funk/Jazz/Afrobeat band formed in Boston in 2005, they are winners of the 2007 Boston Phoenix Best Music Poll and the 2006 Boston Music Awards for Best World Music Act.

From 2006-2009, The Superpowers toured internationally, playing sold-out venues while spreading a message by traveling in a veggie oil powered bus. They held a two-year residency at exclusive Brooklyn music hub, Zebulon, and have performed at notable venues including The Blue Note, The Knitting Factory and Southpaw in NYC as well as at The Regattabar and Paradise Rock Club in Boston.

Members of the Superpower Horns perform regularly with numerous internationally recognized groups including: John Brown's Body, The Duke Ellington Orchestra, Slavic Soul Party!, Sister Sparrow and the Dirty Birds, Meta and the Cornerstones and many others.
